This week has been so busy, and it continues on being so. I worked Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. Then I babysat last night. Today I babysat in the afternoon, and now, tonight, I am babysitting for another family. Then, tomorrow night, Monday night, and (possibly) Tuesday night I am babysitting.  In four days I will babysit for the 5 families that I babysit for. That's definitely a first. It makes me tired just thinking about it.

Day 181

Today was a very busy day. I had to be at work by seven a.m. That's a tough thing for me, since I am NOT a morning person.

 We went to the park before 9 a.m. (impressive, I know.) When we arrived at the park, the sprinklers were on. Therefore, because it was such a warm morning, I told them to go run through them... and that is what we did.

Then, tonight, I had another babysitting job to head to... and I watched these two cuties. For the first time ever while babysitting, I actually struggled. The baby would not stop crying no matter what I did. Finally, I think he fell asleep out of pure exhaustion. Also, he didn't want to eat at all, but I'm thinking he is just not used to being bottle fed.

Sigh, after working 12+ hours today, I am so ready to go home and sleep. Hopefully the parents come home soon!

Day 122

I finished my Geology class today, and it feels good. That was the last high school credit that I needed... so I am officially done with high school! Woot!

Day 114

Happy Easter, ya'll.

I definitely had a full day.

So far, any holiday that my family is not around for can be kind of tough. I always miss them just a little bit more. 

Easter is slowly becoming one of my favorite holidays, for sure! The older I get, the more I realize how wonderful it is that Jesus died for me. I also realize how much I don't deserve it! Thank you, Jesus.

Day 107

As most of you know (especially my family :)) I am a baby fanatic. Seriously. I absolutely love them. That's probably one reason why I LOVE my job so much (although I would still love it if I didn't have a baby to care for :)) I love everything about pregnancy, labor, delivery, newborns, and development. Everything. I could pick up a book about those things and be very intrigued for quite some time.

I love it. I really can not wait to have my own kiddos, and experience all that myself (yes, I'm strange). 

Okay, I can wait. I am actually really enjoying having this time as my time. I am very content not having a child to care for constantly. But I will be very excited the day that I have my own child :) 

So, when a baby comes around (that is, not my baby), I get very excited. 

This morning, my friend just had her third child; a little girl. So waking up to a text saying that she had arrived made my day :) Hopefully I will be around a lot to help out, and so that I can fill up on my baby loving and my toddler loving :) 

So, welcome to the world, precious darling. :) 

In other words, Easter is about here! This time of year always makes me so incredibly thankful. And it makes me so amazed, that Jesus would choose to die for me. (and you :)) He wasn't forced, he chose. He did this because he loves us so. He chose to go through these horrible trials so that I could live forever. 

Another good thing about Easter (not nearly as good though) is that it means delicious candy! :)

Day 21

Maxwell makes such a great model! I turned it into a game, and was able to get a few absolutely adorable pictures of him. I was so torn on which one to put up. I chose this one, because it's different. I'm not totally sure how I managed to get the camera to focus on his face and blur out his hand, but I think I like it.

New Mexico

Last night it snowed. A beautiful, fluffy, and very white snow. I dislike snow quite a bit... actually, I despise the cold, and only dislike the snow because it usually comes around with the cold. That's a completely different story though. Last night, as I was driving home, I couldn't help but feel at peace. I felt at peace with my life. I felt at peace with who I am, and who I am becoming. When snow first settles on the ground is when it is obviously the prettiest. The pure white of snow. The cleanliness. The snow makes me thankful for so many things. It makes me thankful that I have clothes to wear in the snow. It makes me thankful that I have a warm home to go to with hot chocolate, a fireplace, and blankets. If I think about it real hard, I can find myself liking snow... but only for a little bit, and then I hate it again.

Although it snowed last night, my past week was marvelous. Such a good week. I just got back from New Mexico last night and it was a crazy, chaotic, exhilarating, awkward, full of good food and little sleep week. Or 4 nights, to be exact. I am so thankful that I was invited to go. It was so overwhelming. With usually over 20 people in a relatively small house, there was really no alone time. That was okay with me :)

There were 9 kids 5 and younger and 5 of those kids were still in diapers. We ate a lot of food, went to the park, played games, went swimming, and had a lot of conversation. The average bed time was about 1 in the morning, and the average time we woke up was around 9 or 10 in the morning. And then the day would start all over again.

I had an amazing time spending time with friends, playing with little kids, and being away from real life. I didn't do any homework, and I hardly thought about life outside of Los Lunas. It was good :)
