Day 103

It rained today.

if I had had more time I would have tried to get a cooler picture... but I didn't.

This one I actually changed to b&w... but there is hardly any difference :)

It's supposed to rain tomorrow... so maybe then I'll go out and try to get a cool picture.

Day 102

Tonight I have so many random things running through my head.

God is good.
Poncho peed in his kennel. I have no washing machine. It stinks. Like really smelly.
I am SO tired, yet so awake.
I miss my family bunches.
I am counting down the days until they return to me.
I'm kind of sad that this semester is coming to an end.
I really really liked my schedule.
The earliest I had to get up (for the most part) was 8 A.M., and that's doable.
I got an A+ from the dentist today.
Well, he liked how clean my teeth were.
I've never had a cavity.
I love to read, but I have a hard time getting myself to do so.
My hair is naturally curly. For those of you who may be wondering.
I really want to go to Ecuador right now.
I really want to take pictures in Ecuador right now.
I really want to love on the kids in Ecuador right now.
I wish Thanksgiving was sooner.
I really like food. Especially homemade.
I don't think I gained my freshman 15 this year... although technically I am not a freshman, but I am?
who knows.
I love my job waaaaay too much, and I am so sad I have to find a new one for the summer.
I love the beach.
And again, God is very good.

That is what I have been thinking about... plus more. Like how I shouldn't have consumed all of the caffeine that I did today. But, I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night, and I had to find some way to help me rally through my day. And rally I did.

I feel like the first picture is definitely something a little different than normal.

The second one I just had to post. Asher has a really bad cold, and can only breathe from his mouth. This means he can't suck on his paci while he sleeps... bummer? yes. So, today the only time I managed to get him to sleep was when I lay him down on my legs and bounced him up and down.... and he slept for maybe 25 minutes. Poor kiddo. He must have been tired.

Day 101

So, I've been researching getting a new lens. Preferably a cheaper one. :) I was wondering if anyone had an opinion about this, and which one I should get? Any recommendations?

I know graduation is coming up, and I'll be getting a gift from my parents. So, mom, if you read this post and you're trying to figure out a gift. I could give you a few ideas :)

This is one lens that I am looking at, do any of you know how useful it would be? Also, what do the filters do? Do they really make much of a difference? And what about the wide angle lenses? Those are cheap, but what's the point of them?

I couldn't decide if I liked it better in b&w or not. :)

Day 100

This past week was different than most. I had an 8 page paper due... which was not fun, but it kept me busy, but it was also my last major homework assignment. I have one more project in Geology, but other than that I don't have much to do but little 5 minute homework assignments... and studying for a few more tests. No biggie.

So pretty much, I really don't have much homework to do... which leaves me wondering what I will do with all my free time.... I really don't know. Spend more time on my blog? ;) Spend more time with my camera? I'm sure I'll figure something out! I am ready to read some good books! I just don't know where to find them :)

Another thing that happened was that I decided to change majors. I no longer am planning on getting my Early Childhood Education Bachelors. I am planning on finishing my associates (only 7 more classes), and then majoring in something else. I decided this because, although I love my ECE classes, and I love children, I can do everything I want with my associates degree, and I won't get paid any more for having a Bachelors... which means I will have a hard time paying off college.

Right now I am not sure what I want to do. I am considering majoring in nutrition, or possibly childbirth educator... lactation consultant... or something to that degree. I have no idea, really. I have a few more months to try to figure something out.

The nice thing about majoring in Nutrition is that I think I would enjoy it, and from what it looks like, I have already taken about a year and a half of the classes I need... if they all transfer that is :)

Who knows. It's something that I will be praying about and researching.

Anyway, back to today. These were the kids that I had in church today. Only three. But they are precious. :)

Oh, and for those of you who may be wondering... I did sleep last night. :) A good solid 5 hours. Not too shabby.

Day 99

I didn't think too many things through tonight.
1. I took a nap from about 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
2. I drank caffeine at 9:00 p.m.
3. I watched a scary movie. Okay, the movie wasn't scary at all. It was pretty bad. The only thing good about it was the commentary... that we made about it :)

Anyway, it's now 2:30 a.m., and I am hopefully sleepy? I don't know, but I have a good book I can read, and lots of praying that I can do.

Here's my picture.
I need to get some better ideas of taking pictures of myself. I feel like it's so tedious. and then it focuses weird. and yeah.

I did crop it... and I changed it to B&W... no biggie.

Day 97

Work has been hectic this past week. Asher has been teething. Maxwell and Caden have been fighting a ton, and there is ALWAYS laundry to do.

It's amazing I was able to take even one picture... None of them turned out all that well, but the next time I have time I will try harder :)

(f:5.6; 1/13s; ISO 400)
Asher is slowly (I hope) starting to like solid foods. He's been watching us (the people around him) eating, and he'll watch SO intently... but when you give him food, he won't put it in his mouth. He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. EVERYTHING. Today he ate quite a bit of apple sauce though, and he seemed to enjoy it. My little boy is growing up!
(f: 1.4; 1/13s; ISO 400)
The poor kid has been SO fussy lately. Normally he is a very happy baby, but with his cold, and with his teeth coming in, he is not a happy camper. I spent most of my day holding, loving, kissing, and rocking him to sleep. I was so happy to get him into his car seat while he slept, because he fell asleep ten minutes before we had to pick up Caden.
