Life in Ecuador

While I was in Ecuador, my sister was supposed to do a project for school, and she was going

to be using my camera.

The day that she was supposed to take the pictures, she got really sick. 

Since she was supposed to document an average family in Ecuador, she had asked our maid if she could document their life. 

Therefore they had a day planned and since she felt horrible canceling, I went and took some pictures for her. 

I've known these people for my entire life, I'm pretty sure. 

Isabel's mom was my family's first maid, and then when Isabel was old enough,

she became our maid. 

She has two kids... Katherine and Jonathan

I grew up with them. 

I remember when Jonathan was a baby and he would come to our house with Isabel

and he would just walk around in a walker, and play with us.

Senior Photos: Take 2

The second part of the senior pictures I took of my sister were taken at the beach... and here are a few :)

This was a fun place to do a photo shoot, but because it was the first time I didn't have too many ideas to go with it. Now I am always thinking of different things I SHOULD have done.

Thankfully my sister is gorgeous... which made the pictures wonderful :)

Day 325

I promised him that I would get some pictures of him, his motorcycle, and his car. I finally did. I've decided that I am DEFINITELY a portrait photographer.... I really have a hard time capturing inanimate objects and making them look unique.

Day 323

I had ANOTHER photo shoot this weekend as well. I really enjoyed it. What a beautiful family :)

It was a WONDERFUL day for a photo shoot. It was really warm, and the sun made everything golden. The biggest issue we had was getting the older boys to focus.... and we never actually managed to get Asher to cooperate. He wanted to play with the dirt, so if his parents held him he screamed, but if he was on the ground he'd move away or look down.

I had a wonderful photo shoot this weekend. What made it even better was that it was a photo shoot of a beautiful family whom I love dearly.

I created a collage with a few of the pictures of the shoot. Enjoy! :)

In my opinion the lighting was BEAUTIFUL! The only problem is that it was FREEZING. None of us realized this until we had arrived at the park, and we had started setting up. The boys didn't understand why they were being forced to sit out in the cold. A few of the pictures have them wrapped in a blanket, which they seemed to be happy with. Towards the end my hands were so cold that it was hard to even take any pictures. Other than the cold it was a really enjoyable shoot!
