Although I know I've improved since starting this project, it's nice when you can really see a big difference. On new years eve (while I was in Ecuador) I tried to take some pictures of fireworks... it didn't work so well.

P.S. I was wishing I had my telephoto lens with me the entire night! Sigh, oh well.

Those are some good pictures of fireworks! Did you use a tripod? I often forget to take a tripod to events like this. Did you watch them at Memorial Park?
